چکیده
A generic two-dimensional disordered topological superconductor in symmetry class D exhibits rich phenomenology and multiple phases: diffusive thermal metal (DTM), Anderson insulator (AI), quantum Hall (TQH) phase (a superconductor). We numerically investigate the diagram of a lattice model such superconductor, specifically focusing on transitions between phases associated universal critical behaviors. confirm existence tricritical point its repulsive nature at where three meet. characterize behaviors various points using numerical evaluation localization length, conductance (or conductivity), density states. conclude that two metal-insulator (DTM-TQH DTM-AI) belong to same universality class, whereas (TCP) represents distinct class.

Multifarious topological quantum phase transitions in two-dimensional topological superconductors
We study the two-dimensional topological superconductors of spinless fermions in a checkerboard-lattice Chern-insulator model. With the short-range p-wave superconducting pairing, multifarious topological quantum phase transitions have been found and several phases with high Chern numbers have been observed. We have established a rich phase diagram for these topological superconducting states. ...
متن کاملQuasiparticle conductivities in disordered d-wave superconductors.
We study the quasiparticle transport coefficients in disordered d-wave superconductors. We find that spin and charge excitations are generally localized unless magnetic impurities are present. If the system is close to a nesting point in the impurity-scattering unitary limit, the tendency towards localization is reduced while the quasiparticle density of states gets enhanced by disorder. We als...
متن کاملQuasiparticle localization in disordered d-wave superconductors
An extensive numerical study is reported on the disorder effect in two-dimensional d-wave superconductors with random impurities in the unitary limit. It is found that a sharp resonant peak shows up in the density of states at zero energy and correspondingly the finite-size spin conductance is strongly enhanced which results in a nonuniversal feature in one-parameter scaling. However, all quasi...
متن کاملTheory of Electronic Raman Scattering in Disordered d−wave Superconductors
A theory for the effect of impurity scattering on electronic Raman scattering in unconventional superconductors is presented. The impurity dependence of the the spectra can be used to to distinguish between conventional (anisotropic s−wave) or unconventional (d-wave) energy gaps, and excellent agreement with the data on three cuprate superconductors is shown for dx2−y2 pairing. The full frequen...
متن کاملNew class of topological superconductors protected by magnetic group symmetries.
We study a new type of three-dimensional topological superconductor that exhibits Majorana zero modes (MZM) protected by a magnetic group symmetry, a combined antiunitary symmetry composed of a mirror reflection and time reversal. This new symmetry enhances the noninteracting topological classification of a superconducting vortex from Z2 to Z, indicating that multiple MZMs can coexist at the en...
